Focused Legal Solutions for Real-Life Needs
Individuals & Families
Common Challenges
Estate planning is one of those things people know they need but often delay. It can feel overwhelming, full of unfamiliar terms, or too impersonal when handled with generic templates. For families who’ve lost a loved one, probate can add stress to an already difficult time—especially when they’re unsure where to start or how to stay compliant.
How We Help
We simplify estate planning by focusing on what matters most: protecting your loved ones and honoring your wishes. Our flat-fee estate plans include everything you need to create clarity and peace of mind—from trusts and wills to healthcare directives and powers of attorney. If you’re navigating probate, we guide you step by step with thoughtful, responsive counsel that brings structure to an otherwise emotional and confusing process..
Recommended Tiers
Most individuals and families begin with our Foundations or Essentials Plus tiers, which offer straightforward estate plans with the option to include periodic updates as life evolves. For those seeking longer-term guidance—such as aging parents, blended families, or individuals with legacy planning needs—our Strategic Advisory tier provides ongoing legal support to adjust plans over time and address emerging issues as they arise.
Fiduciaries & Family Offices
Common Challenges
Acting as a trustee, executor, or family office advisor comes with significant legal and ethical responsibilities. From trust distributions and tax compliance to court filings and beneficiary communication, fiduciaries are expected to manage complex legal processes with precision—often with little guidance or formal training. The risk of mistakes, delays, or disputes can be high.
How We Help
We partner with fiduciaries to provide structure, clarity, and peace of mind. Whether you’re handling trust administration, overseeing probate, or coordinating intergenerational planning, we offer legal support tailored to your role. Our experience working with trustees and family offices means you’ll get responsive, knowledgeable advice without having to navigate everything on your own.
Recommended Tiers
Many fiduciaries begin with our Foundations tier for limited-scope probate or trust matters, and transition into Strategic Advisory or Private Client Services for more complex estates or ongoing administration. These tiers offer responsive legal counsel, compliance oversight, and long-term partnership for multi-generational or high-net-worth planning needs.
Business Owners & Entrepreneurs
Common Challenges
Starting or running a business often means juggling legal, tax, and operational decisions without a clear roadmap. Many entrepreneurs launch without proper legal structure, leaving themselves exposed to unnecessary risk. Others may outgrow their original setup, need help with contracts, or require guidance for succession planning or dispute prevention.
How We Help
We support business owners from startup through growth and transition. From forming LLCs or S-Corps and drafting operating agreements to providing strategic legal counsel over time, we make sure your business is built on a strong legal foundation. We also coordinate with your CPA when appropriate to align your legal structure with smart tax planning—so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.
Recommended Tiers
Business owners often begin with our Foundations tier through our flat-fee Business Starter Package, which includes formation and core documentation. As businesses grow or encounter more complex challenges, our Essentials Plus and Strategic Advisory tiers offer proactive legal guidance, regular check-ins, and responsive support. For entrepreneurs with layered entity structures or long-term legal planning needs, our Private Client Services tier delivers a fully customized, ongoing advisory relationship.
How It Works
Clear steps. Personalized guidance.
Our integrated process is designed to give you clarity, control, and confidence from the start.
Step 1: Schedule a Call
Start with a conversation.
We start with a brief, no-pressure consultation to understand your legal situation and goals. Whether you’re an individual, business owner, or fiduciary, we’ll help you determine if we are the right fit—and offer actionable next steps, even if we’re not.
Step 2: Receive a Custom Proposal
Clear expectations form day one.
After our consultation, we’ll outline a tailored scope of work—whether it’s an estate plan, business formation, probate matter, or legal advisory engagement. You’ll receive a transparent flat-fee or retainer-based proposal that clearly defines the work, timeline, and next steps—no surprises, just clarity.
Step 3: We Handle the Work
We get to work, so you don't have to.
We handle the drafting, filings, and legal coordination—whether it’s preparing estate planning documents, forming your business, guiding you through probate, or resolving a tax matter. You’ll receive timely updates, clear communication, and trusted support throughout the entire process.
Step 4: Ongoing Support (If You Need It)
Staying aligned as life evolves.
Our work doesn’t stop at signing documents. Through our Essentials Plus, Strategic Advisory, and Private Client tiers, we offer annual estate plan reviews, ongoing business and trustee advisory, and long-term planning support—so your legal strategy stays in sync with your life, family, and goals.
Your Questions, Answered.
How is your pricing structured? We offer flat-fee pricing for most services, with clearly defined scope and deliverables outlined up front. For ongoing or complex matters, we offer retainer-based packages or capped hourly billing. You’ll always know what to expect—no surprise invoices or unclear fees.
Do you work with clients outside of Florida? We are licensed to practice law in Florida and generally limit our legal services to Florida-based individuals, families, and businesses. If you’re unsure whether your matter falls within our scope, we’re happy to discuss it during an initial consultation.
What should I expect during the initial consultation? We’ll start by learning about your goals, answering key questions, and helping you determine whether our firm is the right fit. If we’re aligned, we’ll follow up with a clear proposal and outline of next steps.
How long does the estate planning process take? For most clients, estate plans are completed within 2–4 weeks of the initial consultation. Timelines may vary depending on complexity and responsiveness during document review.
Can you help with probate or trust administration? Yes. We assist personal representatives, trustees, and beneficiaries with probate proceedings, trust administration, and related legal filings—providing structure and guidance throughout the process.
Do I need a lawyer to form an LLC? Not always—but working with an attorney ensures your entity is properly structured for liability protection, tax efficiency, and long-term growth. We offer flat-fee formation packages that include legal documents and startup guidance.
What makes Jefferson Law different? We combine legal insight with strategic thinking—offering clear communication, flat-fee pricing, and a streamlined process. As part of Jefferson Advisory, we also collaborate seamlessly with Jefferson Tax when integrated support is needed.
